Main job responsibilities:
• Driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships within the maritime shipping industry.
• Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities with prospective clients in the shipping, logistics, and transportation industries.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to leadership
Support customers in completing their shipping declarations and assist with finalizing all necessary shipping documents.
• Mentor and train junior sales team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Handle correspondence with the shipping line to secure the most competitive rates and free time offers for customers, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Competencies / Skills:
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Displays sound business judgment and personal drive for results.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Agile problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work under pressure
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or any related field.
• +6 Years preferred in Forwarding, Logistic, or Shipping Agencies.
• Proficiency in both written and oral English and Arabic.
• Proficient in computer skills, especially concerning CRM software and tools.
