Main job responsibilities:
• Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives focused on the maritime shipping industry.
• Set clear sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics for the team and monitor progress.
• Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to improve sales strategies.
• Coach and mentor sales representatives to enhance their skills in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales tools, campaigns, and lead generation activities.
• Manage and maintain relationships with key clients, acting as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive, motivational, and high-energy sales culture within the team.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to support the sales team and meet with clients.
Competencies / Skills:
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Displays sound business judgement and personal drive for results.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Agile problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or any related fields.
• 7 Years minimum, preferred in Forwarding, Logistic, or Shipping Agencies.
• Proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams to exceed target.
• Proficiency in both written and oral English and Arabic.
• Proficient in computer skills, especially concerning CRM software and tools.
