Accountant

Main job responsibilities:
•    Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
•    Reconcile the AP ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
•    Communicate with the suppliers and issue payments.
•    Reconcile the accounts payable ledger.

Competencies / Skills:
•    Knowledge of Accounting software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
•    Displays sound business judgment and personal drive for results.
•    Positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
•    Experience 1-2 years in shipping field.
•    Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
•    Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
•    Proficient in computer skills, especially concerning financial modules/software and tools.
